Under this area we advise clients on numerous labour and employment related matters. We assist clients on the appropriate interpretation of the provi sions of the Labour Institutions Act [No. 7 of 2004] and the Employment and Labour Relations Act [No. 6 of 2004] and their respective Rules, Regulations and Forms; we advise clients on the right procedures for termination of employment and employee benefits; we prepare labour manuals for different clients depending on their business setting; we offer guidance to the new clients prior to their setting of busi - ness—on obligations towards their prospective employees and the Government for instance obligations to remit the Workers Compensation, Pay As You Earn (PAYE), Social Security Benefits, Students Loan, Skills and Development Levy and City Service Levy.
